About Me
From a young age, history has always been part of who I am. Some of my fondest memories are the afternoons I spent with my grandparents, listening to family stories that sparked a lifelong fascination with the past. When I was eighteen, my grandmother drew me into the world of family history, and I was instantly captivated. More than ten years later, that spark has grown into a passion and vocation. I now research families and communities across the Anglosphere, Western and Central Europe.
Outside the archives, I find joy in timeless hobbies such as reading traditional fantasy, classic literature, and historical works; crocheting; attending historical events; and spending time with my family. My main areas of interest are Australian and U.S. genealogy and local history, wartime family research, and exploring European history. Through Knext Gen Genealogy, I hope to help others uncover their ancestors’ stories with the same sense of wonder and connection that first inspired me.
